UNBOXING: Fairyloot March 2022 – THREADS OF FATE🐉

Coincidentally enough, my Fairyloot surprisingly got delivered on a Sunday!! So here I am with another unboxing. I was so excited and curious about this one because I saw so many people rave about Fairyloot’s edition of the book.

So without further ado, here goes…

What’s in the box?

First, here’s an overview of everything that was in this month’s box. I love that Fairyloot started using lighter color palettes as well on their theme cards. I’m so used to seeing darker/purplish tones on their theme cards so this was such a refreshing take!

Fairyloot Mar 2022: Threads of Fate

And now, we can zoom in on each item, how exciting!

🐉 Circe woodmark with art by @avendellart

Life is not so simple as a loom. What you weave, you cannot unravel with a tug.

Madeline Miller, Circe

I was really looking forward to this item because I loved Circe >>>REVIEW HERE<<< and even though it’s a smaller one, I always love a bookmark especially when the art is beautiful! This one looks so fierce! I also can’t get enough woodmarks!

🐉 Raven Cycle sticker sheet with art by Olivia/@vivivaa

Quite exciting to be seeing merch from one of my favorite fantasy series. I love the Raven Cycle gang so much. I love Ronan but I also think Gansey is so precious.

🐉 Raybearer cushion cover designed by @blanca.design

I’ve never read Raybearer but the quote featured on this is very good. The color scheme is not really my style so I’ll probably end up selling it or giving it away, so feel free to hit me up if you’re really interested.

🐉 The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea tea tin designed by @chattynora

I ADORE THIS UNIQUE TEA TIN! This is the first item that I saw when I opened the box and it brightened my day! I am really into tea, especially loose-leaf tea, and I can’t wait to store some of my favorites in this tin. I’m so impressed with the quality of it and the inner lid to keep the tea fresh. Fairyloot thought of everything! It’s also an item that’s both beautiful and functional! Inspired by the featured book of the month, this perfectly matches the color scheme of Fairyloot’s edition.

🐉 Threads of Fate playing cards with art by @naiivu

This item is unfortunately delayed due to production issues but it sounds amazing and neat and I can’t wait to see the artist’s vision of these characters. I’ll make sure to post an update on the blog once I get it so you don’t miss out on this beauty, I’m sure it will be worth the wait! Each suit will be represented by characters from four different books:

♦️ Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim

♠️ Jade Fire Gold by June CL Tan

♣️ Only a Monster by Vanessa Len

♥️ Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan

🐉 The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh🐉

Admittedly, I wasn’t expecting this month’s book to be so stunning, because of last month’s exquisite edition of Daughter of the Moon Goddess, but Fairyloot once again delivered yet another beauty to add to the collection! I am so happy with the palette they went with for this book, as well as the two-colored stenciled sprayed edges.

In addition to all of the items above, Fairyloot included the first pair of their new set of collectible tarot deck featuring characters from Sue Lynn Tan’s Daughter of the Moon Goddess.

Wenzhi as The Magician and Xingyin as The Fool

And that’s a wrap. Thanks for unboxing with me!
