HIIIII 😀 So…. I’m really bad at staying away, and I’m online anyway so….
The past week has been half-productive, half-not. Hopefully, it gets better soon. I need it to for everything to be worth it. I was able to find time to read for fun here and there, but not as much as usual. SAD 😦 I’m so behind on my digital ARCs!!!
The past week’s three Ws are…
What are you currently reading?
Last year, I read Dividing Eden and liked it a lot because I love the idea of twins fighting for the throne. Also the cover was gorgeous! I like that the covers still match and how it got darker, just like the plot. More than halfway through book 2, and I’ll probably finish it over the weekend. It’s not as popular as all other fantasy series, but by any chance, have any of you read the first book, and what did you think? Are you planning to read this sequel, coming out on June 5?
Reading this for the Owlcrate book club. I’m keeping up with the reading schedule so I’m about a quarter of the way through. I’m intrigued and definitely love the new world that Amanda Foody has built, I’m just not very invested in the characters yet… I’m sure they’ll grow on me soon enough.
What did you recently finish reading?
I had no idea this was going to be a 5-star contemporary read! It had all the makings of a great contemporary romance read. And so much music ❤ I highly recommend it if you haven’t picked it up yet. I haven’t written my review yet, but basically I LOVED IT.
You can read my full review, but basically, I was kind of disappointed with this. When it comes to thrillers, once I figure out the twist and it turns out I’m absolutely right in the end, I feel like I wasted my time… it’s unfortunate.
Curious to know if anyone has read an ARC of this or is it on your TBR? Out on May 29.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Just in case I need plenty of time to go through ToD, I better start soon so I can finish before Kingdom of Ash comes out. A lot of people are disappointed about ACOFAS but I don’t think I will be… just because I wasn’t really that excited about it in the first place. I like ACOTAR a lot, I’m just not a super crazy fan, haha. It’d be nice if I see Cassian and Nesta, but if not, there will be plenty of books after I’m sure.
Thanks for reading!
I’d love to hear your thoughts if you’ve read any of the above!
