Hello! I got my first Fairyloot box of the year this morning, and it is filled to the brim with beautiful faerie goodies! What a wonderful way to wake up 🙂 the only slamming door I appreciate is when the mailman delivers my packages!
The biggest and most exciting item in the box is the gorgeous EXCLUSIVE “Only you can decide what breaks you” pillowcase designed by Evie Seo. The quote is from A Court of Wings and Ruin (book 3 of the popular ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas) – incidentally enough, I really need to finish reading this book, I’m past the halfway point but I don’t know why I haven’t picked it up.
In the spirit of all Sarah J. Maas items, this box also includes a pair of super cute EXCLUSIVE Feyre & Rhysand magnetic bookmarks by Dreamy and Co., as well as EXCLUSIVE Rowan & Aelin art prints illustrated by Diana Worak, inspired by SJM’s Throne of Glass series. Which series do you like better?
I also love the EXCLUSIVE Prince Cardan illustration by Merwild, perfectly matching the EXCLUSIVE Prince Cardan candle from Meraki Candles (which I’ve just found out has since closed! This is most likely the last candle I’ll ever see from this shop). The candle’s scent is created from scents Holly Black provided to Fairyloot The Cruel Prince Cardan supposedly smells like: clove, oakwood, moss, leather, black pepper, and pine. I’d say it comes very close to what I imagine a handsome faerie prince will smell like.
A unique and unexpected item for the month: an EXCLUSIVE Faerieland coloring book by Michael O’Mara Books. I’m so excited to color the different mythical creatures contained within these pages!
If you haven’t guessed yet, the book of the month is, of course, The Cruel Prince by Holly Black, which also came with a letter from the author and a signed bookplate. The original cover is so beautiful and I do like it better than the Owlcrate exclusive cover – although Owlcrate has a hidden surprise in their book’s naked form 😉
Last but not least, there were two EXCLUSIVE lip balms by Geeky Clean sent out: apple-flavored Seelie and honey-flavored Unseelie – as you can see I got the “light” side!
And that wraps up this Fairyloot Talk Faerie to Me unboxing!
Thank you for reading!
